Are there unexpected disciplines that set tones for the rest of the class? Consider random questions and gender issues such as equality. Do lessons flow well, grabbing and keeping the attention of the students? Is there quality communication and interaction skills between the teacher and students? Is student participation active? Is there the presence of and variety of useful learning aids like textbooks, computers, assignments, grading, blackboards, visual equipment, and more?
